Shape Shifter
Shape-Shifter reimagines phylogeny—the study of evolutionary relationships between organisms—as a framework for visualizing narrative structure. Using Jules Verne's Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea as source material, I created a diagram that mapped the story's progression through a branching evolutionary system. Through projection mapping, a gradually glowing trail is animated on the diagram, transforming a scientific model into a visual representation of narrative development and change.
